Fall STEAM Project: PUMPKIN GEOBOARD
At Lanti, we love love love STEAM!
If you haven't heard about STEAM you will definitely want to check out this Blah-Blah Blog post!
STEAM stands for....
S - Science
T - Technology
E - Engineering
A - Arts
M - Math
STEAM is such a fun and engaging way to create, learn, and experiment!
Geoboards can be a fun way to make shapes and patterns...... BUT playing with plastic can get a little boring..... SO why not use something like a PUMPKIN instead?!?!
Here is what you'll need!
- Pumpkins! (any size will work)
- Rubber bands (colorful ones add a little more pizazz ;)
- Pushpins OR Golf tees
- Last but not least - a GREAT attitude!
Now, after you have all of those materials your child will then take the pushpins OR golf tees, and stick them anywhere on the pumpkin!
After they are placed where you want them, take your rubber bands and create patterns all over the pumpkin!
When you're finished you will get something kid of like this.....
So cool and so colorful!!
If you make this, post a picture of your product in the comments below!
Until Lanti Squad,
Keep Shining :)
