THANKSGIVING TRIVIA 


Q - How long did the first Thanksgiving celebration last?

A -
3 days! There were about 50 European settlers and somewhere around 90 Native     Americans who attended the 3 day feast!

Q - Which US President proclaimed Thanksgiving as an annual holiday?

A - 
Abraham Lincoln!

In 1836, Lincoln proclaimed a day of Thanksgiving on the last Thursday of November. (However, the annual holiday was changed under President Franklin D. Roosevelt to the fourth Thursday in November.)

​Pults or Turkeylings! How cute!! :)

 Minnesota and North Carolina!

In 2015, there were nearly 41 MILLION turkeys raised in Minnesota and approximately 31 MILLION in North Carolina!
